Zach earned a B.S. in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry from Moravian University in 2022. He then gained research experience at FAU in the Blakely Lab, focusing on microscopy and immunofluorescence in mouse models. Currently, in the Loerch Lab, he aims to explore ribosomal translational control through fluorescent staining and microscopy. Zach aspires to pursue a Ph.D. and continue research. Outside the lab, Zach enjoys reading, cooking, or finding new shows to watch.

I'm a fourth-year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major, expected to graduate June 2025. I'm excited to gain more wet-lab experience and to expand my skillset working in Sarah's lab. After I graduate, I plan to attend graduate school and become a professor in the future. Outside of the lab, I'm an LSS tutor and a Resident Assistant. Some of my hobbies and interests include watching Formula One, playing the guitar, music production, and boxing
